Mail/Male

This letter was delivered to me by Royal Mail on 24th April 1964.  It is a first day cover celebrating probably the best known male playwright in the world. The postmark is April 23rd, commonly accepted as Shakespeare's birthday.

The address is of the house where I was brought up as a child, at that time I wouldn't have thought that I would end up living in Stratford upon Avon!

In other news: we went for a walk along the canal from Wilmcote this morning.  I did have another option for today's challenge (male) that I took this morning.  I've put that in the extras just because I like the picture.
