A Juvenile Phoebe

I always have young Phoebes in the yard each year.  They often nest in the eaves of the potting shed although too high up for me to see the goings on.  This young one took a break from testing his wings and came to rest on my garden ornament.  He was a bit skeptical of me and didn't stay long although I tried to stay hidden hence the interfering leaves.  Not the greatest of photos but that look!!  Warm weather returns today and I'm still hoping for a prolonged rainy spell to end this draught.
