Brixton Book Jam

On Monday night, I was at the Brixton Book Jam at the Hootenanny pub. This is an evening where local authors get five- to ten-minute slots in which to read out a section of something that they've written. I'd been before in October and enjoyed it, but Monday night had the added attraction of my friend Katy stepping up to the mic to read from her comic tale of Christian cults and vampire subculture in London, All Lies And Jest.

The blip would ideally have been of Katy herself, but I was too busy videoing the reading itself for Facebook.
