Clubbiedean

A good day, mostly spent outdoors. I took the Bug and the Bear to explore the river and the woods. We collected leaves, and Bug even took it upon himself to do a "leaf study" when we got home! A copy of 'The Sense of Wonder' by Rachel Carson arrived today, which seemed kind of fitting. It reminded me of a quote I heard on the radio the other day, along the lines that the world does not lack wonders, it lacks wonder. I hope that's not true!

The kids spent hours covering our garden in chalk, and creating "a disco floor" on the drive.

Later I got out for a bike ride with my BIL's wife - up to Torduff and Clubbiedean. I will admit I had to get off my bike for a few short sections, but I was faster on foot. Need more practice!
