Day 235/20 Post Covid Test Detritus

It transpired that yesterday's pub lunch and wet walk along the coast was not such a good idea. One of the diners had a daughter just returned from a holiday with friends. Later in the evening, after the pub lunch, I had a phone call to say that one of the friends on holiday with her had just tested positive for coronavirus... 

Advice on the web is for someone with coronavirus, or somebody who has been in contact with that person. Nowhere does it refer to people who have been in contact with someone who has been in contact with someone who has been in contact with someone who has had a positive test. 

I decided to take a test anyway. When I got to the testing site - a huge, almost empty car park - I had a self testing kit passed through the car window. Um, do it myself? Really? It was unsettling to be parked next to cars where the passengers were also shoving tests down their throats. Apart from that it was a very safe and slick experience and all the helpers were smiling and anxious to help.

Now to wait for the results
