Grumpy

This is grumpy chicken. She has been broody for a couple of weeks now and snarls at any others who go near the nesting boxes with the result that we are only getting three or four eggs from 12 hens every day!
We always lift her from the nest and put her outside, despite loud complaints, she eats and drinks a bit and goes straight back onto the nest.
We've tried putting her in a pen away from the others, but she escapes and goes straight back to the nest, and I've warned her that Mr F is threatening to put her in the pot, but she's stubborn, and goes straight back to the nest.
