I had a bad day on Friday...it started badly, I was grumpy and moody and then to top it off I backed the lorry into the guttering on a church building. No bad damage, thankfully. Anyway, I was glad to go into the cold water of the Quays yesterday and for a day of nothing much today. I have two days in this week then I’m off until next Tuesday.

I did nip along to the Range this afternoon to get some citronella candles. I’ve been outside in the sheshed ever since, just reading and daydreaming. I have a cosy throw wrapped round me, feet up, candles burning and I’m waiting for the bats to arrive.

I’ve decided to have a little Hallowe’en party this year and I’ll decorate the summerhouse. I couldn’t resist a couple of things in the Range and this candle holder was one. I’m always a sucker for a skull lol
