The dropped stitch

the little wooden house

Back at work, and finding it not SO bad, once the initial shock wore off.

It was a day touring Orkney's West Mainland. It's not my usual area and I hadn't had time to do 'homework', so finding some of the addresses was challenging/nigh impossible. Luckily the sun shone, the scenery was beautiful and the roads were pretty empty.

This building was a highlight that came at the end of the day and cheered me up at a point when I was ready to give up and go home!
The owner described it as 'wooden' - it was, underneath its outer shell. Would love to know its history. Beyond repair now.
