Sorting the barley from the chaff

Well it isn't wheat.

I spent a happy hour this morning taking pictures of the combine harvester trundling up and down this huge field cutting the barley and then offloading it into a trailer at the top of the hill.

It took them all day yesterday to cut what you can't see over the hill and I daresay they'll be lucky to finish today.

Washing out and now we've had two massive rain showers.  It can stay out.
