The coop met up to clear the fence of grass and the plot of brambles this am. We all said it was the most sociable event we'd all had in a long time! This last week has seen torrential rain and high winds - a lot of peoples sweetcorn and runner beans were blown over on the allotment! Back home my builder came to grout the paving. He used a resin based product that looked like sand - he just had to pour it over the paving and brush it into the cracks - but it means Oscar can't go out till it sets which will take 24 hours! Poor Oscar! It will take another week before the garden is finished - I'm looking forward to putting my plants back! Fortunately The Exile is back so Oscar had a play with his mum in their garden whilst we drank tea!
