Small gifts

for the two teams.

A very quiet morning at school. It was even quieter than the first day of the lockdown in March.
Colleague Marianne and I placed the lavender on all 48 workplaces in the building, after we put the plants in decorative pots, made the cards and attached them to the lavender.
The lavender plants are a small gift from the management to the staff. On the one hand, I like it, but on the other hand, I think it is a bit exaggerated to give presents at the start of the school year. But it is very thoughtful from the management team.  Marianne had already put a lot of time into it because she also went to the garden centre to buy the plants.
I have to look up how many extra hours we have each year, but she and I can already strikethrough these hours :-).
