Susie

Susie Reignmaker was in my Blip on August 12th after winning her trial at Rangiora. She had her fist start for us at Addington today finishing with a strong burst down the outer to win by 3/4 of a length. This was a enormous thrill has she started the week lame with a big lump on one of her front legs. The trainer treated this all week and decided to race her only yesterday morning. She had missed all of her preparation work but still managed to win. These are strange times under Covid level 2 restrictions. I had to be identified as an owner at the carpark entrance and again at the course entrance in order to be let in. There was no winning photo for owners and no winning owners food and drinks afterwards. I just went home and had a celebratory drink.
