New Kid on the Block

This is the very handsome Jack. Jack is a very big boy indeed measuring 176cm and he belongs to the lovely Anna who is 16 and absolutely tiny! She's so excited about her new horse and I don't blame her cos he's a beauty. It was a joy to watch him being let loose in the outdoor arena and, as he's an ex point to pointer, there was a distinct possibility that he just might leap the fences and take off into the sunset! I was in the arena with him for a short while and the energy he expended was something to behold.

In other news, the Robster was a little out of sorts today but I managed to control him and this pleased me greatly. I also learned today that you shouldn't stick a very cold hand into a horse's mouth (Jack) as you can't feel it biting you..................
