Puzzling It Out

Lovely (albeit brief) visit from my aunt & uncle this weekend. Inevitably, such visits are fuelled by laughter and nostalgia, along with some enthusiastic debate amongst the men.

This visit was characterised with puzzles - the fine specimen in this picture is of the English counties, and was first done by Mother (on the left) and Aunt (on the right) in their childhood (some forty-five years ago). What's particularly brilliant is that each puzzle piece is the shape of the county it represents. We had great fun identifying the counties that no longer exist!
