Football, boys and Ruby

I took the photograph of the football practice in full swing on Abbeymead Open Spaces park this morning during Jonty's walk. He really enjoys going out but doesn't like to walk far nowadays. I do think he's got a bit of joint trouble and it's getting more difficult for him although it isn't obvious to watch him.
We had the boys for about 1.5 hours today while Daniel and Joanne went downtown to pick up some DIY stuff. They have really smartened up their kitchen and now starting on another room. Just caught Buddy and Hendrix as they were departing. Not looking very happy but I think most grandchildren enjoy being at their grandparents!
Ruby came after they left and she was hiding behind the net curtain but just her face! I'm sure she thought we couldn't see her because she was doing 'BOO' when she came out.
