Delivery

This yacht arrived today from England and the customs officials delivered the isolation paperwork. The next week will need to be spent aboard the yacht and groceries will be delivered. Nobody is allowed ashore until they have cleared and had a covid test in 7 days. Then they have a further week of social restrictions.
Sad times really, listening on the radio this afternoon which said we need to be working on effective treatment more rapidly than waiting for a vaccine as that is obviously the biggest immediate need.
Miss T is off to an 18th birthday party this evening and so another late night for us. 
We have enjoyed a quiet day whilst everyone is at the Guernsey Together gathering in the park. The island seems to be empty because most have gone to the event. We enjoyed an early supper in a peaceful restaurant in town.
