Lazy Afternoon

We went into St Neots quite early this morning and Jack bravely came into Lidl on his first shopping trip since March lockdown. Of course he didn't know the rules about sanitizer and places to stand when paying. I took great pleasure in pointing out the new regime!

Home but still very windy so a very lazy afternoon. Both of us reading or listening to music. I'm reading a book by Rosie Thomas that has appeared from somewhere... (PhilippaJ isn't she one of the authors you like? If so point me in the direction of the ones you've enjoyed most, please.). A mid afternoon drink ....for me a Blood Orange Gin and Tonic. Whisky for Jack.

Now cooking a Waitrose recipe Cod and Prawns in Fennel and White Wine...not a fat baby to be seen!

All in all a pleasant day so far.
