not a bumblebee

There was a very photogenic bumblebee flying around the peppermint flowers, but by the time I got my camera out it had disappeared. I waited very patiently for it, but it didn't return. In the meantime, I practiced my macro photography with this fly, and a a hoverfly that put in a brief appearance too (extra).
