Puzzling

I’m going to be really honest here - this government has genuinely surprised me.

I expected to be lied to constantly. I expected them to be corrupt and mean spirited and vile. I expected them to mess up repeatedly and try to slip the blame.

But it’s their sheer consistency that has caught me off guard; their natural instinct for the wrong thing to do, which they apply relentlessly. I like to say that even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but they keep showing that they can avoid getting something right under all circumstances.
