Bleak

It was forecast to be one of the coldest days of year and this picture sums it up pretty well.
They had some snow in Blackheath but it's much warmer for us in the valley so I stayed put. I don't think I missed much.

Julia is skiing at Perisher Valley and it has been blizzarding all week. She says the lovely fresh snow makes up for the awful conditions.
They have done well to open the resort this year. It's about 50% capacity and following strict Covid rules. It all sounded too hard for us so we are sadly missing out this year.
