Silver Lining

Some very unwelcome both in terms of cost and inconvenience emergency pipe work required half the contents of our between-floors attic/altillo to be brought down. A good chunk in addition had to be jettisoned immediately as it had suffered irreparable water damage over time including one of my Paisley Grammar School primary blazers. I rescued a school tie!

The silver lining is that I now have access again to a big box of my writing that had been lost to view for years and, generally, we have long been intending to sort this stuff out... all our physical photos from Brazil, Dd's Budapest teaching books, all our family home movies with projector and camera and many many Royal Dalton and Wedgwood Royal Wedding souvenirs presented by mother...three of each, as she expected us to have three children!
