Snow Comes to Blackheath

Up here in Blackheath we get snow maybe three times each winter. For us it's a novelty rather than a nuisance (or a proper tourist attraction) because it is most often gone within a day or two. It seems that today's predicted fall was billed as a much bigger deal than it ultimately was, given that we have copped much bigger dumps in the past.

This time however, five and a half million Sydneysiders found themselves in the middle of self imposed lockdowns, closed interstate and international borders, a shut down entertainment industry and general abject boredom. So they have descended upon us in droves.
