Getting plastered on a Friday night .....

Another non harvest day. Rain with the odd sunny spell.
A morning spent hauling the last of the winter barley straw home then an afternoon spent carting Junior into Edinburgh and bringing Littlemiss back home from school.
Had to go next door this evening to help wee brother calve a limousin X cow .Unfortunately the calf had a broken leg so had to call the vet out to put a stookie on it. Hopefully with it being so young it should knit back together fine. More expense , and as it was out of hours it will be even more costly .
Now tipping it down outside again and blowing a gale . Who would think we were screaming out for rain all May !
