Selfie with sweet peas

As 60 mph winds and torrential rain  sweep through Scotland, Boris, our Prime Minister, is holed up in a remote cottage on the north west coast with Carrie, their son, Wilfred, and dog Dilwyn.
 
He claimed he was going on a glamping holiday.
Well, there is a yurt in the garden.
Still, it makes a change from his last holiday on the Caribbean island of Mustique.
 
A certain newspaper tracked him down but stopped short of revealing the location. The Guardian are less coy. Not only have  they revealed it – Applecross- but they have photos of the inside of the cottage.
 
Photo: this summer for the first time since I was a teenager , a very long time ago, I have grown sweet peas. I had forgotten they make excellent cutting flowers.
