Trees and Trees

Another view of Trentham Gardens, and the weather couldn't have been more different than yesterday. Again, I met up with another friend and ex-work colleague today. Although we've had Zoom meetings over the last few months, nothing beats meeting in person.

This area was congested with lots of shrubs, but now looks so much better since it's been opened up. One of my favourite trees is on full view. It's the enormous tilted tree on the left - a swamp cypress. The feathery leaves turn a spectacular orange in the Autumn. So I'll no doubt be repeating this image later this year.
