Da Castle Flowers

A breezy day with showers. Torrential rain hit Lerwick at teatime, flooding roads. A flat calm, sunny evening in Scalloway. Looks like mist is hanging over the hills.

Another day working in the museum. We had the busiest day since reopening, with 53 folk in. Not busy as in numbers, but mentally challenging to keep track on where everyone is. Some walkies this evening, and then big Brian and Madeline popped by. Might try a pint later.

As summer starts to come to a close, the end of season flowers start to appear. They should flower for a while yet, and they looked great in the evening sunshine. Taken at the Scalloway castle gate.
