A grand day for gardening.

My plan for today was to buy some plants and fill the pots Mr. C. had put in their final resting place.
The weather had other ideas. The wind has been howling for most of the day. We went shopping and were held to ransom in the car outside the house by the rain lashing down.
Hope my Gladiolis survive. The tree hasn’t looked happy all day! As for the fells, they have just disappeared in the heat haze!
