(Fool)hardy ?

Very strong winds and high tide didn’t deter these swimmers from taking a plunge at Burry Port this morning. Fortuitously there was a life belt at hand but we didn’t wait around to see if it was needed.
Heard later that the Lifeboat was called out, the RNLI station is only about 100 yds away, but they had scarpered by then. What a ridiculous and thoughtless waste of resources and risk to life.
A few extras of the conditions at 8:30 am. It was difficult to stand up against the force of the wind.
