My Land

This is our very nosey dog Rufus who surveys his "land of long shadows" on a regular basis from our garden bench. He launches himself at speed onto the bench so he can keep his back paws on the bench but stretch about 3 feet forward to land his front paws on the wall - this requires a substantial stretch on his part.
However disillusioned he is, he still can't understand that this land is not actually his but belongs to our local farmer. Though when it has been harvested in the late summer ? its is a fantastic playground as we all go out and play on hay bales and mountain bike around the ruts to tighten the old leg muscles - or not!
