Culinary skills

I have just finished watching the Story of Mary Berry. What an inspirational lady who struggled at school and didn't leave with very many qualifications but discovered she was good at domestic science. She was taught how to clean a toilet on one course!! Her dad did not really approve but she has gone on to become very successful. (I started watching her in the comic relief bake off programme) She lost one of her 3 children in a car accident when he was just 19yrs old - very sad. Her career spans more than 50 years. She made dishes in the programme I wouldn't even know how to start.

This sign hangs over my cooker and says quite clearly how good a cook I am. I have tried hard to learn but cooking is not something that comes naturally to me.x
