Public art

Today I took a photo of a section of the main street in Burlington. I included the mural because I think the idea at the time was to show how integrated public art is within the city.

I did some research on the mural to get some context but I could not find it on the city's website. There is a list of all public art installations and I could have sworn it was on there. It was kind of sad, it's as if they disowned it. I looked more closely at mural and it's kind of peeling. I guess it will be replaced soon.

Sigh ... Impermanence.
