The real use for the butterfly bush

Is for butterflies and today I managed to see a swallowtail feeding that stayed still long enough for several photos.   The poor thing is a bit tattered but since I haven't seen many butterflies this summer, I am happy with it!

Leaving in the morning to go back to North Carolina to see #1 son and spend a few days in the cooler weather.   A new tractor part is waiting for Jerry to help put it on and hoping that the tractor will start.   #2 son is going with us but his wife is going to stay home to keep the 2 dogs..one of which is still a wild teenager who does not travel well.    I hope we can make some time to go for a walk in the woods somewhere...in between the rain showers that are expected.   

The tooth area feels okay...mostly what is annoying the gum where he must have put 10 shots of whatever he used to numb it.   Eating is a little awkward but I have been mostly eating soft food for now.    Doing better than I expected but one thing I found was I am really dragging today.  I guess my body is telling me that it had something traumatic happen.   So early to bed for me.
