Blip Meet (2) - Lancashire

After yesterday's unplanned blip meet at the Anglezark Amble today was the Winter Hill fell race - over the same hill but half the distance and twice the climbing, most of it not on tracks or paths. Even without the rain /sleet / snow we 'enjoyed' today this is quite a tough morning out.

Picture time and I raced as did emmilou and AJMurray while daily fish marshalled and Snips and Snaps came along to support us all.

Seen here are Colin (Race Organiser) and picture time shaking hands with AJMurray who collected the trophy for being first Horwich RMI runner home.

After a near abstemious weekend, so far, a glass of wine is called for and I may consider tomorrow a rest day.
