Sunset on Summer?

Needed to get outdoors for a while this evening.  Nothing wrong, I just realised I hadn't been out for a walk or done any real exercise since last week.  Working at the centre is brilliant but tiring after not being hands on for a while.  I went to the English Nature Reserve near to where I live and realised that Autumn is just around the corner.  Most of the flowers have gone and are being replaced by wonderful seed pods and berries.  Is it me or does it seem a little earlier every year.
