Meadow ant at Knipe Scar

Another walk with Andrew, Katie and Jane. We were lucky again with the weather which was bright and breezy. We walked along the Lune and then up Knipe Scar, ( see extra).  Andrew led us along a shortcut through neck-high bracken and nettles! However when we emerged we were in an old pasture full of ant hills, which is quite rare I think.
Pepper and Daisy had lovely swims in the river, and we finished by having tea and cake from the little cafe in Bampton.
