Turk's Head Squash

This is one of the latest productions from the allotment. We are used to butternut squashes, but this one has a very strange outline, and this photo does not really show it very clearly. I perhaps should have taken the picture on its side? I really like the pattern of Turk's Head! Inside it is just like butternut squash, and there is not much flesh in either. ..... too many seeds! But it is certainly unusual!
