Flower fly

On golden rod. Another nice day and the ground is getting very dry and dusty, cracking on the surface. We are beginning to need some rain.
This golden rod is growing in the fence line. I am always amazed that florists use golden rod in their arrangements because it can cause real problems for some people with allergies.
