Cosmos bipinnatus 'Kiiro'

Usually I plant a mix of pink and cream cosmos, but during lockdown I didn't buy any seeds or plants online or from catalogues (I never have done), which pretty much left seeds found in the supermarket. I planted vast quantities of this kind and have spent much of the summer impatient, waiting for the flowers. Finally (finally!) they are flowering, or at least the 'Kiiro' cultivar is. I think it's going to be worth the long wait in a few weeks.

A quiet, but productive day, and my last working day this week. The Bug and Bear seem to really be enjoying being back in childcare/school. I am trying not to take it personally!
