Very quiet

I’m still unhappy about large groups of people. I’ve not been shopping, other than a weekly visit to Waitrose, or to my local butcher or to the farm shops.

I take a calculated risk to go swimming - first thing in the morning, weekdays only. I do want to enjoy these lovely things in life. David Lloyd are really supportive and I avoid weekends or “family time”.

I had to go to the bank to pay in cheques, as I’m membership secretary for our Arts Society and they were mounting up. I’ve been putting it off but I gritted my teeth, sorted my mask, and went into he centre of Lichfield.

I’d timed it right. No queue in the bank ( where they are very careful). I was in and out in no time.

I paused to take a photo of the market square. The pretty little church is now a heritage and community centre.

I’ve never seen it so quiet.

And I’m certainly not complaining. This part of lockdown has really been rather nice.
