Guernsey and beyond

Homeward bound...

Last night was one of the best meals I have ever had, with wine served with each of the eight courses. I particularly loved the sousvide lobster with the bisque foam and white chocolate and parsnip purée ( sounds like come dine with me). It was also amazing to be allowed in the kitchen to see the chef at work.

Today, embraced in the moist arms of St. Brelades Bay - we ate at the Oyster Box. The head chef kindly obliged me with his photograph - my blip today.

The group have have all had a brilliant weekend, and are already planning the autumn break. Friends - "special people".
