A Gloomy Day

Wanaka was under a low cloud inversion layer this morning.  We had coffee in town and decided to drive out to Cardrona to try and get out of it.  We did but there was still broken cloud about.  We walked about half an hour along the Meg Hut Pack Track until we had to cross a stream that was flowing well.  Not wanting to get wet feet and not dressed for a longer hike we turned back.  Nice to be somewhere different even if it was dull.
