Muddy Swan

Out on a pre-rain bike ride this morning we passed a family of swans residing around a stagnant green pond.  Mum, Dad and two teenage cygnets (too big to be babies but they were still grey) were poking about on the grass bank.  I suspect this was Mum as Dad was close to the wooden fence hissing at us.  Once he got used to our mobile phone cameras he ignored us and went back to snuffling around.  

Good bike ride and we missed the rain!
