Drama, Day 3

Well, my day started at 00:40. 

The intruder alarm again. I could not shut it off and had to call the supplier’s out of hours service. I got back to bed about 02:00. 

Their technician arrived about 11:00 and after an hour of various tests decided the fault is in the cable between the bell outside and the control panel inside. He will return with a colleague to check or replace it. We suspect a squirrel has been in the roof space through which the cable runs,  and has chewed it. 

I have had a squirrel problem before. Anyway, this one may have given itself the electric chair treatment. 

In more positive news, I went to the dentist and my broken tooth is repaired. They have a tough time trying to operate while staying safe. If they carry out a procedure involving aerosol production, they have to leave the room empty for an hour afterwards to let the droplets settle… They have to suit up with full personal protection equipment. 

Fortunately it was not needed for my wee repair. 

The sun came out this afternoon. Wow… I mean wow! 

I got my Blip in the park in Dunfermline across the street from the dentist’s surgery. I was early for my appointment and had time to walk around to soak up the sun. The Extra is just another of Dunfermline looking its Late Summer Best.
