Cath and me!

Woke up this morning, homesick. Felt I just had to get back through to Lanarkshire and all the old, familiar places.

After Click and Collect and a whizz round M and S we brought all our shopping back home and then set of for Lesmahagow. Our first port of call was the cemetery with lovely views over to Tinto. ( The Broon will know how much I like Tinto!!) Extra pic.

Then through the village where I spent my childhood. Stopped at the old homestead and was shown round by the new owner ,Gavin. He is busy renovating the property.( Extra pics)Also one of the garden round the village phone box Mum used to tend!

On to Cath and Gordon’s for a picnic in their beautiful garden. It was just wonderful to sit out in the sun with company we have missed so much.

A wee trip down to see E and E after school which seems to be favourable.

Saw Fifi this morning briefly but it was not the same without two wee people clamouring at the window when they see us arrive! James was at school and Annabelle at nursery.
