Thistle

I love the big purple thistles. They have such a presence , albeit as a weed for many people. But today I came upon some dried out ones, about to shed their seeds and in the sunlight they absolutely gleamed. The centres looked so soft. So here is one beauty.

I have had some trouble recently with the Internet and also with an overloaded computer drive (due to too many photos!) I will backblip the missing ones this week. Work is busy...I haven't got around to visit much, sorry.
