Evening Clouds

Initially I was very pleased to have captured this view. The cloud formation and colours made for quite a special evening and topping it off with a sun star was a bonus.

And I'm sure as an image on the web it looks fine. However on more detailed inspection, the wide angle lens has produced quite a bit of distortion in the corners causing buildings to lean in. Fortunately they are hidden in the shadows. Also, I forgot to take multiple exposures and consequently the shadows are quite muddy.

So all in all, trying to make a print of this image at any decent size might not work too well. I guess these are the finer points a more experienced photographer would attend to. Nevertheless, I'm happy for now.
