Ticket to Ryde

Have had a long but lovely day.
First off I visited my mum in her Care Home. She was looking good but it's so hard not knowing when I'll ever be able to get closer than 2 meters to her.
Then I went to the Isle of Wight for the afternoon on the Fastcat to meet up with good friends who live there. We went to The Wishing Well pub for an Eat Out to Help Out lunch. It was very nice. It's part of the Mermaid Gin Distillery, so we had to have a G&T aperitif!
We called in on some of their relatives who are staying in Bembridge and then had a walk and an ice cream at Ryde.
Got back home at 9.30pm.
The main picture is a view I never tire of - The Spinnaker Tower at Gunwharf. The first extra is on the approach to Ryde and the second is the Southsea-Ryde Hovercraft, which is now the only passenger Hovercraft in operation in Britain.
