View from a bridge.
This afternoon we popped out to Brougham (pronounced Broom). Clickychick was wanting to "suss out" the area for some work with a client. We stopped and walked on to the bridge, which thankfully was repaired after Storm Desmond closed it for months (perhaps over a year I can't remember).
I have often, well it feels like often, blipped the castle so I decided to stitch a few shots together for a panorama. Despite the rain the river was fairly low. A useless piece of information the horse drawn carriage called a Brougham was named after Lord Brougham who had the original type of carriage designed to his specifications. Lord Brougham was the eldest son of Henry Brougham of brougham Hall a mile or so down the road.
