Onions an Beetroot

A warm and close day, but steekit mist all morning, lifting slightly in the afternoon, but still misty on the hills. Flat calm all day.

Another day working in the museum. A quieter day, but still folk around. Nipped down to mam's this evening, and a walk with Sammy. Feet up now.

Mam's vegetables are fairly coming on, she's even been cooking and using them. She's made a couple of batches of beetroot chutney, which really is the good. She has promised more, and I'll hold her to that :) Taken in mam's yard, Aith, Cunningsburgh.
