NORMAL IS BORING

A friend called today and as the rain had cleared we ventured out for a short walk. I've walked past the ruins of Fort Crosby many times but today encouraged by my friend we decided to investigate one of the anti aircraft shelters which was built to protect the coast line before the first world war and used in the second. The extra is the shelter from outside - youngsters have obviously enjoyed the space and decided a bit of interior design was required! The lump of concrete on the top covers the hole where the large anti aircraft guns were sited.
